Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of tutorials for digital painting? Or any tutorials that will help me paint better with my Intuos.
I'm having quite a bit of trouble in this area. I've been following a few tutorials but I have yet to find something that makes me go "AHA, so that's how it's done!"

Well, I'm getting back to DeviantART. Just cleaning up a bit today, and getting used to all the new features since I was a regular. I've recently bought a Wacom Intuos4, and I absolutely love it. It's really hard to learn how to use, but like anything else it's just going to take a lot of practice.
I'm working on a piece right now, the first thing I'll have made with the tablet. I'll be uploading it tomorrow regardless of whether I like it or not. That's something else I need to work on, being so hard on myself. I'm my worst critic, lol.
Things will be slow at first as I put art back into my life.
